It was March 30th 2021, it was Trans Day of Visibility the next day, and most of computer-y humanity has been cooped up indoors. As a trans woman in tech and in WordPress working in the safety of Automattic during tumultuous times for trans rights, Tallulah wasn’t feeling particularly visible, so she made a Wapuu that represents how she feel about the community and her trans siblings. Trans wapuu was on all the Automattic Trans Day of Visibility posts the next day.
Their name is simply Trans Wapuu, their pronouns are they/them and their gender is nobody’s business but their own.
