WordCamp Minneapolis/St. Paul (WCMSP) is one of many global conferences, centered around the open source software WordPress. Our event attracts 400+ people in the community every year to learn, share, and network. WordCamp MSP is volunteer-run, and our community plays the biggest role in making the event successful. We have a broad range of attendees, from website designers, freelancers, developers, business owners, bloggers, users, and folks who just want to learn.
This year, WCMSP will feature full-day training workshops on Thursday, August 22nd. This day is a great opportunity to get hands-on learning. We’ll cover the basics of WordPress from installing your first website, to using WordPress themes. We’ll also have a workshop on WooCommerce, a popular WordPress e-commerce platform. Bring your laptop and follow along with others!
Friday and Saturday, August 23-24, will feature three tracks of sessions with speakers from Minnesota and beyond. You can expect topics on design, development, WordPress basics, SEO, business, and more! You’ll have a chance to meet WordPressers in the community, talk with sponsors (and pick up some swag!), and learn. Saturday afternoon, following the sessions, we’ll walk together to Loring Pasta Bar for a catered lunch and more networking.
